You will need intensive eye specialist training in order to become an ophthalmologist. The last two years of your training should be centered on clinical practice.
To become an optometrist, you can take admissions exam on your second or third year in college then apply for optometry admission in different colleges and universities. Complete your 4-year course and then obtain a license – anyone who has gone through all these can start practicing as an optometrist.
